ECE Owner & Publicist, Tara Pretends Eagle Weber, is a member of the Standing Rock Lakota Tribe and a direct descendant of who those who fought in the 'Battle of Little Big Horn.'

Tara's work first began as a social worker specializing in work with victims of violent crime & their families when she graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1991. She became a leader in the State of Ohio as an Administrator for the Violence Against Women Act, overseeing the funding for state's sexual assault prevention/education programs. This led to her journey out to Indian Country to seek out her Lakota culture and biological family. It was a culture shock to Tara living among her own for the first time at thirty years old. She delved into her work as the Director for Indian Child Welfare Act on the Standing Rock Reservation and as a Social Worker for the Indian Education Department in the Rapid City School District.
